Objectives

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to advanced modeling techniques. A special focus will be given to problems related to transporation logistics. In this course we will cover linear programming and prototype applications.
Students are expected to already know how to deal with Xpress-MP.

Prerequisites

  • You already need to have passed LP-Modeling I in order to be eligible for attending this course
  • proficiency in using XpressMP

Grading Mode

In order to pass the course you’ll need to complete the following tasks:

weight for final grade tasks
40% case study (individually)
40% solution techniques (group work, 2 students each)
20% homework
100% course passed

The course will be held in English.
All homeworks, assignments – as well as the final presentation – have to be done in English

Deadlines

If you are registered for this course and decide – for whatever reason – to drop it, you can de-register from this course without being sanctioned by Mai 14.
