Course Content

Aim of the course is to introduce students to scientific literature. Students will learn how to search for literature about a specific topic, how to classify research literature in the field of Operations Research, how to write a scientific work, how to summarize and give presentations on scientific topics. Students have to participate in class room discussions, they will have to write a seminar work and give a presentation.


Grading:
  • Homework/Discussions: 20 points
  • Presentation: 40 points 
  • Seminar work: 40 points
  • Grades:
    • < 50 points - 5
    • < 63 points - 4
    • < 75 points - 3
    • < 87 points - 2
    • > 88 points - 1

Prerequisites

  • Minimum requirement for admission is one of the basic courses of the KFK PM/SCM/TL (Production Analysis, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Logistics)
