Course Content

Aim of the course is to introduce students to scientific literature. Students will learn how to search for literature about a specific topic, how to classify research literature in the field of operations management, how to write a scientific work, how to summarize and give presentations on scientific topics. Students have to participate in class room discussions, they will have to write a seminar work and give a presentation.
The topic for this semester is "Hierarchical production planning".

Homework/Discussions: 20 points

Prerequisites

Minimum requirement for admission is one of the basic courses of the KFK PM/SCM/TL (Production Analysis, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Logistics)
